With the constant growth of the world population, we realize that there will be times of our life to live and work in high density urban areas.

However, according to research conducted in England by the University of East Anglia, having access to green spaces can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, premature death, stress and high blood pressure.

By 2030, urban areas around the world could be home to 60% of the population with one in three people living in an environment of half a million people.

As the population numbers increase, our green spaces end up shrinking in order to build new homes.

With air pollution still an ongoing battle for the country, solutions to tackle smog and rising temperatures refer to adding plants and trees as the number one alternative.

Adopting green walls and roofs in our living spaces will help fight air pollution, smog and rising temperatures.
